On 2 wheels through the south of the Dolomites
Just be free , just enjoy the road below us, the sky above us and the wide, deserted nature all around. Where else in Europe can you find motorbike tours that offer all this if not in South Tyrol? Saddle up and follow the Trientna Helmut Leitner on a tour with varied curves and fantastic views of the peaks and valleys of the southern Dolomites.
We start straight south from the Hotel Leitner and drive at a brisk pace in the direction of the Panider saddle . We continue through Castelrotto – there the sparrows whistle from the roofs that the famous musicians are at home here. Well warmed up, we tackle the first real hairpin bends when we whiz past Prösels Castle. At the foot of the largest mountain pasture in Europe – the Seiser Alm – we drive the steel steeds up the driveway to the Niger Pass . There we are welcomed by the fantastic panorama with a view from the Catinaccio to Latemar . The picturesque Karersee is practically right around the next bend.
We always find plenty of photo locations and reasons to let our video drone fly on these motorcycle tours through South Tyrol. For example, when we parade our bikes over the dam wall at Passo Fedaia . The gaze wanders over the reservoir to the Marmolada – the queen of the Dolomites. The return journey north to the Hotel Leitner also offers views of the Falzarego Pass and Valparola Pass that simply have to be captured. Due to its length, this motorcycle tour offers many opportunities for photo stops . We can take leisurely breaks or spontaneously extend our journey through South Tyrol.
