This tour bears his name, and for good reason: On TRIENTNA’s Tour , Helmut Leitner, “the Trientna,” is behind the wheel himself, taking you along his favorite routes . He’s been driving through the Dolomites for over 20 years. What he’s discovered during this time is reflected in these days: personally selected routes that aren’t in any guidebook, mountain passes at the perfect time of day, and viewpoints that will make you stop automatically.

Mid-September is the best time for it. The summer traffic is over, the roads are quieter, the air is clear, and the first larches are turning golden. You don’t have to plan or search for anything. You get in, follow Helmut, and enjoy every curve.

Lunch: A stop like visiting friends

Each day of the tour, we’ll stop for lunch together at an alpine pasture or a restaurant that Helmut has known for years. Enjoy bacon, dumplings, Schlutzkrapfen (filled pasta), and a view you won’t soon forget. Lunch and a drink are included in the price each day of the tour.

Evening: arrive at Hotel Leitner

After your ride, Hotel Leitner in Mühlbach awaits you with half-board. Enjoy a delicious dinner, a glass of South Tyrolean wine, and time to chat with the others about the day’s most beautiful curves.
