When autumn begins in South Tyrol, the valleys and mountain slopes of the Dolomites present themselves in fantastic yellow and red tones – in between the dark tree trunks shimmer. It almost seems as if the fields and larch forests of South Tyrol were solemnly adorned in the German national colors of black, red and gold. The mighty peaks of the mountains enthroned above everything, rising into an azure sky. At this time there is hardly any traffic and we can stop anywhere to take photos as we have the road all to ourselves.
