We open the season with plenty of horsepower – and even more calories. We hide the diet plan in the trunk for a few days, because people eat hearty and well in the Dolomites. Our own kitchen at Hotel Leitner will spoil you with classic South Tyrolean dishes as soon as you arrive.

The culinary curves tour begins with a ride over the varied route through the Jaufen Pass. Jaufenspitz, Saxner and the Hohe Wilde with its almost 3,500 meter high peak pass us by. Lush mountain meadows shine between the mountains. But we’re getting hungry again and treat ourselves to a coffee break at the legendary Andreus Resort . The house is well known for its coffee and Mediterranean cuisine.

Then we earn our lunch with a sprint over the rarely used Tschöggelberg . Its curves are tough, but the fantastic view rewards every effort. Well fortified, we continue across the high plateau of Ritten, in the direction of Lengmoos and straight on to Barbian with its famous crooked church tower and idyllic ponds.
